ABOUT THE PLAY:

Mystery/Suspence; 5 men, 3 women

Under the definition of mystery, there will always be an entry for Agatha Christie. The suspense starts with a snow storm, guests trapped in a small country hotel, and a detective's search for a killer on the run. A London resident has been brutally strangled, but the suspect slipped through the fingers of Scotland Yard. The guests have all come to Monkswell Manor for seemingly innocent purposes, but the arrival of Detective Trotter arouses suspicion that the escaped killer could be among the guests planning to strike again at any moment. The Mousetrap is the longest running play in the world with over 23,500 performances since the beginning of its in the West End of London in 1952.
