Hello! We are Oklahoma City Theatre Company, Oklahoma City’s fastest-growing professional theatre. We have been producing critically-acclaimed audience favorite productions in the area for eleven years now, and we are about to embark on a new and exciting journey. I take great pride in inviting you to come along. OCTC performs at the Civic Center Music Hall, a multi-million dollar state of the art performing arts venue in the heart of Oklahoma City. We will be producing our eleventh season in the art-deco comfort of the 290-seat Freede Little Theatre and the 99 -seat CitySpace Theatre which we invite you to explore with us. If you are one of the thousands who have enjoyed our work in the past, you no doubt were in on some of our critically-acclaimed productions like the rollicking Always...Patsy Cline, or the recent productions of Macbeth or Three Tall Women. Maybe you were part of the standing ovation crowds that enjoyed I Am My Own Wife, King Lear or Top Girls. If not, it’s time you got to know us. OCTC is a showcase of some of the best, most-established and highly-trained theatre artists the state and region have to offer. Some OCTC actors have appeared in motion pictures, on television and on stages from New York Los Angeles. Our scenic, lighting and costume designers have worked in established theatres nationwide. At OCTC, we like to take small spaces and re-imagine the classics. Be it musical, comedy or tragedy, we like the classics because they are beautiful. In the very best sense of the word. However, we don’t like them richly stuffed and dead on arrival. We like them alive and kicking. I hope to see you at the theatre!
